Our Philosophy

Endion Hive is built on the principle of giving users control over their data. We do not monetize your data, track your behavior, or insert advertising. Our business model is based on fair and transparent licensing, not on personal data exploitation.

Hive Software

The Endion Hive software does not contain tracking code or ad tech. Drives are encrypted and replicated peer-to-peer. Nodes do not report file contents, filenames, or metadata to Endion or any third party.

The software may connect to one of our services in order to discover other participating nodes, and we may store the IP address and port of that node. The IP address and port makes the node uniquely identifiable over the Internet. We will not keep this information for longer than 30 days.

SSL Certificates

Our system uses SSL certificates to authenticate nodes and secure communications. Certificates are renewed automatically, and are necessary for continued participation in the swarm network. We do not charge for certificate issuance. Your nodes need to be able to access our Certification Authority at all times.

Website

Our website (endion-software.com) does not use third-party tracking.

If you submit your email address (for example, when requesting beta access), it will only be used to contact you regarding Endion Hive and will not be shared with third parties.

Account Information

When creating an account, we only collect the information you provide — typically just a username. This is so it remains unique.

Data Control and Replication

You retain full control over your data. Data stored in Endion Hive is encrypted, replicated across authorized nodes, and cannot be accessed without the correct cryptographic keys and permissions. We do not have access to your data and cannot provide or restore access to anyone.

For Business and Government Users

Endion Hive is designed for full on-premises deployment. Business and government users can run Hive entirely within their own networks, with no requirement for external cloud dependencies. Certificates are issued via Endion's CA, and certificate renewals can be performed securely.

Our licensing model is transparent and does not involve profiling or behavioral tracking. Business data remains under your full control at all times.
